US-wide smoking ban predicted for 2020!

Great news for our American friends,

Federal health officials are predicting that every US state will have bans in place on smoking in restaurants, bars and the workplace by 2020!

According the the American Heart Association’s latest statistics, an estimated 24.8 million men (23.1 percent) and 21.1 million women (18.3 percent) in the US are smokers. Hopefully the nation-wide ban will help some of our friends to quit smoking.

    The UK has had a smoking ban in place regarding public areas since 2007 and it seems to have done a lot of good! Personally, I think it’s great - it’s awesome going to a gig and not coming back reeking of smoke, as well as knowing I’m not damaging myself by inhaling other people’s second hand smoke.
