Breast self exams start with a visual exam. Look in a mirror and ask yourself the following questions: Do my breasts look and feel the same? Is one breast larger or smaller than the other? Are my nipples the same shape? Are there any indentations, bruises, or bulges? Are the veins more noticeable on one breast than the other?
